Massage on normal tissue is a pleasant, even a luxurious sensation. Areas of injury or chronic pain can be noticeably decreased and soothed in the first few minutes of massage. Using therapeutic techniques which minimize discomfort, I will work with your guidance to ease tension.

Massage is known to have numerous therapeutic effects:
- Reduces stress and normalizes blood pressure
- Increases circulation and boosts immunity
- Restores range of motion and relieves aches and pains
- Relaxes muscles and joints and improves posture

Swedish Massage is what many people think of when massage is mentioned. It uses long flowing strokes, deep kneading, surface friction, light tapping and joint movement. This method helps in stress reduction, relaxation, increased range of motion and the release of mild muscle spasms.

Myofascial Release. Fascia is a fibrous sheath just under your skin which surrounds and supports all of the body's structures and organs. Due to daily events or trauma, fascia often becomes restricted or inflamed which results in tension and pain. Estimates indicate that more than 90% of therapeutic massage clients have myofascial adhesions or restrictions. Gentle pressure and movement of the fascia releases the restrictions thereby decreasing your tension and pain and improving posture.

Acupressure, a Chinese massage technique, applies pressure to specific points on the body, thus affecting the flow of energy, or Chi, so that it moves freely and evenly. Acupressure can have profound effects on all aspects of your well-being - the physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual.

Reiki (pronounced RAY-key) is a Japanese word meaning "Universal Life-Force-Energy." Reiki is a safe, gentle, non-invasive form of hands-on healing that increases energy, reduces pain, and produces deep relaxation.

Acutonics. Precision-calibrated tuning forks are gently applied to specific acupressure points, utilizing the body's energy meridian system. The sound waves of the forks travel deeply into the body, reaching places not accessed by traditional massage. The work can be powerful and profound; it has the ability to relieve chronic & debilitating conditions.

Watsu (or Aquatic Bodywork) is a bodywork system performed in a warm swimming pool. Because water removes approximately 50% of the effect of gravity, Your body is gently supported in the pool, and your natural buoyancy aids musculo-skeletal flexing and muscle lengthening. Many clients experience a deep peacefulness while their spine relaxes and elongates. Greater results are possible to achieve in the water than can be accomplished on a massage table.

Pranic Healing. Your body has an amazing ability to repair itself. This ability to heal is sometimes called life force, chi or prana. With Pranic Healing, we are assisting the body's energy system to normalize, allowing the body to heal itself. If there are blockages in the energy field, we remove these; if there is depletion of energy, we give some back. We are continuously working with the whole person—not just a single organ system—to facilitate self-healing.
